Having revealed promotional shots earlier, Etude House revealed three web teasers for Sandara Park’s endorsement of their new summer collection, ‘Aloha Girl‘.
The three web teasers are titled, ‘Catch me Dara’, ‘Water-play Dara’ and ‘I’m a rocker Dara’. They showcase Dara’s never-ending charms while she touts their product, “Proof 10 Henna Fix Mascara“.

2NE1’s Sandara Park recently made her presence felt on the streets of Myungdong. On the 16th, Sandara posted a picture of herself wandering the streets of Myungdong during a beautiful weekend morning via her me2day.
Before heading out to Myungdong, she wrote, “It’s the weekend and the weather is good so I want to go out.” She continued, “I also want to go makeup shopping.”
Sandara then visited a Etude House shop that she models for and said, “I came to shop for makeup and there is a girl who looks like me. Hey, you are pretty good looking,” causing fans to laugh over Dara bragging about her looks.
Finally, she said, “I went to Myungdong and there are so many people. People say that I look like someone a lot but would just leave it at that. I should just go around comfortably from now on.”

SNSD’s maknae Seohyun was recently picked as the best natural beauty out of girl group members.
According to a poll that was conducted by a cosmetics surgery hospital in Seoul, results showed that out of the 781 netizens who participated, 348 (44.5%) voted for Seohyun as the “girl group member who shows the best natural beauty”.
A representative of the cosmetic surgery hospital explained, “First place taker SNSD’s Seohyun has a friendly face. Her natural beauty results from her confidence and ability to showcase her strong points.”
Other girl group members who ranked in the top three were KARA’s Han Seung Yeon (210 votes, 28%), and 2NE1’s Sandara Park (189 votes, 24.1%).
The nine members of SNSD exhibited nine different charms for the May edition of ‘Marie Claire.
In this special edition, each SNSD member will have their own cover.
A representative expressed, “Every fan will be able to buy a magazine with their favorite SNSD member on the cover. We expect these magazines to be hot items.”
“Pure” was the concept for this photoshoot, and so the girls donned ruffles and lace dresses to not only portray feminine images, but give off a romantic mood. Fans were gasped particularly over Seohyun’s cover because she displayed the image of a more mature woman.
Project stylist Kim Woo Ri commented, “Normally, there are a lot of girlish and fancy styles, but SNSD was able to exhibit the innocent concept the best.“

For those of us who know SNSD’s / Girls’ Generation’s maknae Seohyun, it doesn’t come as much of surprise that she doesn’t like the lyrics to the groups new title track Oh! With her well publicized adversity to boys, all of those love confessions written into the lyrics of Oh! surely must have caused her some discomfort.
On a recent recording of the popular new talk show Strong Heart to be broadcast on the 16th, Seohyun opened up and confessed, “The part where the lyrics go ‘Oppa I love you’ was really difficult for me to record. … No matter how much I practiced, when it came time to record, I couldn’t sing it!”
After letting out a sigh Seohyun said, “The lyrics were just so embarrassing that I couldn’t do it at all.”
After revealing all this, of course MC Kang Ho Dong had to ask Seohyun to sing Oh! for him. Seohyun’s response?
She let out another sigh, causing everyone in the studio to laugh at the cute and innocent maknae. In response, member Sooyoung said, “On the other hand, I was told to be as embarrassing as possible!”

Photos of After School’s Jooyeon on a recent radio episode of Shim Shim Ta Pa this past week have gained some interest as she has an innocent expression etched on her face while holding the mic with her hands.

Word has been flying around amongst fan forums about a four member comeback for girl group f(x), and SM Entertainment has recently denied them as groundless rumors.
SM Entertainment told Star News on November 15th, , “Previous reports of f(x) coming back as a four member group is not true. Nothing has been decided within our company.”
When asked about Amber’s whereabouts, they answered, “Amber has completed her public activities and is currently in the U.S.”

“I don’t purposely reduce my eating habits just to keep my form,” she said. “Instead, I keep my spine straight and always maintain good posture.”
Nana also revealed that she pays attention to how she walks. “Even when I’m tired, I don’t slouch and always walk like I’m on a runway.”
She also mentioned her future activities with After School. “We just finished up our promotions for ‘Shampoo’. We’ll work hard to bring you another side of our charms.”
Rumors of a new After School sub-unit called ‘Banana Caramel‘ recently began circulating when fans noticed Nana and Jungah hanging out more exclusively lately.
Because Pledis revealed that they had another unit in the works, the rumor spread like wildfire after a picture of the two eating bananas surfaced on the ‘net.
Pledis replied to the speculation by asserting that Nana and Jungah are not a unit; furthermore, they firmly stated that they don’t have plans for another unit yet.

After School’s showcase tickets for their Japanese performance at Akasaka BLITZ went on sale today. Over 50,000 people attempted to purchase the tickets, but with a 3,000 ticket capacity (for two stages), all of the tickets were sold out in one minute!
After School has collaborated with Amuro Namie for her collaboration album, “Checkmate!” and have even sang at ‘Tokyo Girls Collection by girlswalker.com 2011 SUMMER/SPRING’ despite not having made their debut in Japan yet.
As reported, the group will make their debut with their new single, “Bang!”, which is set for release on August 17th.
Their debut single is a Japanese remake of their song that is already popular in Korea. At their July performance at Tokyo, it is expected that “Bang!” will be performed at this live.

Earlier, SECRET revealed that they’d be debuting in Japan with their hit track, “Madonna“. It seems that they’re off to a great start already, since the Japanese public is going crazy over their debut!
News of the girls’ debut is being reported on extensively by the Japanese press, including huge media outlets like Sankei Sports. It’s an exceptional case for a group that have yet to promote or debut there.
Representatives of TS Entertainment stated, “The Japanese have taken a high interest in the girls. News of SECRET’s debut is being reported on by various TV networks and the press. We will work hard to ensure that SECRET’s music is able to get out to everyone.”
SECRET will be holding their debut showcase on July 6th before they officially debut on August 3rd.
Pictures of SNSD’s Sooyoung and Tiffany in Paris, France have been revealed.
On June 8th, Sooyoung uploaded two pictures through SMTown’s Facebook page.
Sooyoung wrote, “I’m SOOYOUNG~! Finally, we are in Paris~!!!! First cut in the street~!” .
In the picture, Sooyoung is seen sporting a trench-coat that fits well with the Paris scenery and posing while making a peace sign. With her retro bag, muffler, and sunglasses, Sooyoung displayed a natural, yet fashionable look.
Sooyoung added another commented, stating, “Tiffany~! Let’s take a picture~! Lovely pose in front of the ‘Arc de Triomphe’~!” and added a picture she took with Tiffany. In this picture, Sooyoung and Tiffany are making a friendly pose with Sooyoung’s arm wrapped around Tiffany. Tiffany is sporting a loose T-shirt and skinny jeans with an oversized, red bag across her shoulders.

On June 7th, SNSD departed for Paris, France for the SMTOWN LIVE PARIS CONCERT. It was revealed that the pictures Sooyoung uploaded was taken during their free time after their arrival.
Meanwhile, the SMTOWN LIVE PARIS CONCERT will be held on June 10th and 11th at the Le Zenith de Paris venue in Paris, France. This will mark the first European concert held by a single Korean agency.

Girl group After School recently revealed how much they miss their member UEE.
The group had a successful comeback with Bang!, but UEE was unable to participate in many live performances due to her conflicting schedule. The group recently stated in an interview, “We are finally feeling the empty space left by UEE.”
Leader Kahi said, “I always miss UEE and I like it when I am with her. Even if one member is missing, it is very different when the whole group meets up together. I miss her the most when we are on stage. But I guess we have no choice but to cheer her on…”
Jooyeon sent a supporting message to the busy member saying, “UEE goes to Kangwon-do to shoot for her drama, and we feel like she is very lonely. However, we call her everday and she comes back to the dorm, so that is nice. It is very good to see her working hard. I also have interest in acting, so I use UEE’s old scripts and practice. She teaches me a lot about acting.”
Jooyeon was then asked what kind of role she wants to act as. She stated, “I have lots of roles that I want to pursue. But at the moment, I would like to act a role that is similar to my age, something like Hwang Jung Eum’s character in High Kick Through The Roof.”
Jungah then said, “To be honest, I think Jooyeon could succeed in any acting role. Because I am her roommate, I know her very well and how hard she practices. Once, I was sleeping and was woken up by the sound of her acting. She was acting out a father and a daughter fighting, and I couldn’t fall asleep until she finished.”
It seems like Jooyeon is a very good actress. Maybe, after UEE, she could be the next member in the group to pursue an acting career.
After School’s UEE and Lizzy’s short conversation through Twitter has caught the attention of netizens.
On June 1st, Lizzy tweeted, “Time flies…”, and in response, UEE replied, “I know… It seems like just yesterday that our Lizzy was walking around in her school uniform, but she’s already 20… goodbye now.”
