SNSD Jessica’s Twitter account suspended due to anti-fans

Just three days after its creation, SNSD’s Jessica had her Twitter account suspended due to anti-fans.

The account (twitter.com/jess_syj) opened on October 13th, and it’s speculated that hordes of anti-fans falsely abused the “Report Spam” system. Users can find their accounts suspended if there are massive spam complaints sent to the “Help Centre”. Numerous anti-fans also blocked her profile.

On the plus side though, this incident reveals that the overseas popularity of SNSD has increased to a formidable presence over the years, as the group seems to have a proportional amount of haters to fans.

I guess this is just another reason why some celebrities don’t use Twitter.

Amused netizens commented, “K-Will has transformed into a staff member,” “K-Will, did you forget that you’re a celebrity too?!,” and “We have the birth of a new IU obsessor on our hands.”

KARA’s Goo Hara delivers a stunning pictorial for ‘Elle’

In a stunning new pictorial for ‘Elle‘ magazine, KARA’s Goo Hara transformed into a Bohemian muse from the ’60s.

Hara’s look combines the spirit of Woodstock hippies and the rock ‘n roll freedom that the decade is known for. Makeup artist Jungsaemmool revealed that she was influenced by illustrator Kelly Tunstal in creating Hara’s retro palette.

To give depth to the style, she purposely chose mismatched colors for her makeup, and coordinated an ethnic dress and bold bangles to complete the hippie look.

KARA’s Goo Hara and After School’s Jooyeon are still an awkward pair

Among the “Invincible Youth” G7 members (Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha, Kim Sori, f(x)’s Victoria, KARA’s Goo Hara, After School’s Jooyeon, T-ara’s Hyomin, and Secret’s Han Sunghwa), Goo Hara and Jooyeon have one of the most awkward relationships.

In the episode shown on October 22nd, Goo Hara and Jooyeon helped an old woman tend to the chili peppers, and while working together, they were unusually silent.

Unfortunately, conversation did not flow easily. Awkwardly, Goo Hara asked Jooyeon, “Would you like some coffee?” Jooyeon replied curtly, “I don’t really drink coffee.”

Then when Goo Hara said she wished to have been on the squash team, Jooyeon confessed, “We are too awkward.”

Meanwhile, Kim Shin Young, who joined them later, said, “It’s the first time this year that filming was this awkward“, making everybody laugh.

Yuri & Tiffany battled for “Mistake”

SNSD’s latest track on their “Hoot” mini-album, “Mistake,” earned much attention after its release for being written by member Yuri herself.

The members revealed in a recent interview that Tiffany and Yuri had to battle one another in order to get their lyrics included in the album. The members stated, “They both battled until the very end, although Yuri won. Yuri’s lyrics about a heart breaking crush must’ve fit better with the song than Tiffany’s lyrics about never ending love.”

Yuri stated, “I’ve always wanted to personally contribute to the album. Lyrics that I had already written up fit well with our new song, so it was a great chance and opportunity. It was very different watching us perform a song that I wrote, as it almost made me choke up.”

When asked whether her lyrics stem from personal experience, Yuri shook her head before answering, “I have a habit of writing down things on a memo while reading. These lyrics were influenced by some notes I took from a book.”

Member Tiffany added, “I like writing as well. Should I receive another opportunity, I will take it and go with something stronger.”

The remaining members expressed their desire to participate in their next album production as well. Taeyeon has been busily studying about writing music, while Seohyun has been taking lessons on jazz piano.

The group claimed that their goal was to produce an album with nine different songs written and composed by each of them. The title track will be decided by a game of rock, paper, scissor.
